The Dragons of Magic |
Pizoondertanx was a white dragon, eldest of the dragon chiefs and a slave lord, who shared the rule of the Obsidian Well with Varuna, Macumba, Heptane, and Siliq.
History
Pizoondertanx had hundreds of personal slaves, who fed him, groomed him, and tended to his every need. His agents kept up a steady stream of sacrificial offerings from nearby villages like Mitrokin, and Rokin was one of these slaves. The slaves were fitted with a flexible metal ring around their bellies, which each of the dragon chiefs could channel mana into to inflict pain and torment. The dragon chiefs were practically unassailable, but the Fall of the Primevals in c. -17,000 AR changed everything. As the Primevals fell one by one, the dragon chiefs' power and magic faded away, and the slaves suddenly realized their slave rings had become useless bands of soft metal. The slaves rebelled, and Pizoondertanx attempted to get his favored personal slave Rokin to intervene. Instead, Rokin joined the rebellion, and Pizoondertanx and the other dragon chiefs fell under the swarm of hundreds of enraged slaves.[1]
