Ian Robb is an American professional Magic: The Gathering player. Robb made his mark on the Pro Tour in 2025, with back-to-back Pro Tour Top 8 finishes — in exactly two Pro Tour appearances — standing as a debut for the ages.
Description
Battling to earn a Regional Championship invitation in 2025, Robb finished 8th place in his first Pro Tour, Pro Tour Aetherdrift, earning an invite to World Championship 31. He repeated his performance in the follow-up Pro Tour Final Fantasy, where he finished runner-up.[1]
Robb's success story also belongs to "Flexslot Diamond", a testing squad headed by Corey Burkhart and Mark Jacobson among others. With a mix of new and "boomer" Pro Tour players, the team updated and incorporated preparations that had drastically changed in the preceding five years.[2][3]
