Professional play
Birrell finished 4th in the Grand Prix Austin 2020. In the 2021 Kaldheim Championship, he posted a record as one of the eight highest finishing Challengers. This qualified him for the Rivals Gauntlet and consequently for the 2021–22 Rivals League.[1]
