Guillaume Matignon is a French former professional player and World Champion. He is best known for his performances during the 2010 Pro Tour season, during which he finished second at Pro Tour San Juan, second at the French National Championship, and won the 2010 World Championship to tie with Brad Nelson in the 2010 Player of the Year race. Matignon ultimately lost the playoff match for the title, leaving Nelson as the Player of the Year.[1] In 2017, he returned to the scene with a top eight at Pro Tour Ixalan.
