Duel Decks: Mirrodin Pure vs. New Phyrexia

Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 had one expansion[2] which added five new decks to the game. These were themed around the Guilds from the then forthcoming Return to Ravnica expansion, however they didn't include any new cards from that set. Instead they used cards from the original Ravnica block and other older sets.

The expansion was followed by three downloadable deck packs[3], each with two new decks. Five of these were similarly themed around the guilds in Gatecrash, again without including any new cards. The sixth deck was five-colored.

Expansion

Azorius

A white and blue deck themed around the Azorius Senate.

“  On the city-world of Ravnica, the Azorius Senate creates magically binding laws to enforce peace. The “Aura Servants” deck uses Auras to improve the strength and ferocity of its creatures. Endlessly customize your forces with different magical enhancements![4]  ”

Golgari

A black and green deck themed around the Golgari Swarm.

“  The city-world of Ravnica relies on the black and green aligned Golgari Swarm to oversee the messier aspects of life and death. The “Sepulchral Strength” deck harnesses the power of death for its purposes. Sap vitality from enemy creatures and add it to your own en route to crushing all opposition![4]  ”

Izzet

A blue and red deck themed around the Izzet League.

“  On the city-world of Ravnica, magical research is the chief domain of the Izzet League, often with explosive results. The “Mindstorms” deck is one such result. Dangerously unstable elementals and weirds take the fight to the enemy, while lightning strikes rain destruction from above. Use the Izzet’s deadliest discoveries against your enemies![4]  ”

Rakdos

A black and red deck themed around the Cult of Rakdos.

“  On the city-world of Ravnica, the murderous members of the Cult of Rakdos take sadistic glee in devising new methods of torture. The “Grinning Malice” deck is all about causing your opponents pain: mount an assault on their creatures, their life totals, and ultimately their sanity![4]  ”

Selesnya

A green and white deck themed around Selesnya Conclave.

“  On the city-world of Ravnica, the Selesnya Conclave believes in the collective power of community and combined effort. Armies of saprolings are the backbone of this deck, which seeks to overwhelm the opponent with superior numbers.[4]  ”

Deck Pack 1

Boros

A red and white deck themed around the Boros Legion.

“  The horns sound. To war! With the red and white “Act of War” deck, your heroes will cut a path to the enemy’s door. If they stumble, cast tide-turning spells to light their way![3]  ”

Simic

A green and blue deck themed around the Simic Combine.

“  Hold your ground and rule the skies with this green and blue deck. “Sky and Scale” starts slow and steady but wins by summoning titanic flying creatures to end your foes’ hopes.[3]  ”

Deck Pack 2

Orzhov

A white and black deck themed around Orzhov Syndicate.

“  Wield the spirits, shades, and life-sapping magic in the white and black "Grim Procession" deck to show opponents that their defeat is inevitable. The end is nigh! [3]  ”

Gruul

A red and green deck themed around the Gruul Clans.

“  Surge to victory with the red and green “Berserker Rage” deck. Summon formidable monsters, and when opponents let their guard down, use mighty magic to double their size![3]  ”

Deck Pack 3

Dimir

A blue and black deck themed around House Dimir.

“  Disrupt your enemies’ plans with spells, then summon stealthy mages and shadowy undead to deliver the killing blows.[3]  ”

Mana Mastery

A five-colored deck.

“  Wield all five colors of magic with the "Mana Mastery" deck. A pentacolor array of spells will help you keep the battlefield clear while you set the stage for towering, indomitable creatures![3]  ”
