David Rood is a Canadian professional Magic player. He is best known for his accomplishments at the Team Limited format, most importantly winning Pro Tour Atlanta 2005 as a member of team Nova, with teammates Gabriel Nassif and Gabriel Tsang. He also finished runner-up at Pro Tour Boston 2002 and at the Masters Series event at Venice in 2003.
After a twenty year gap, Rood made a come back in the professional circuit. Earning qualification for the 2025 Pro Tour Final Fantasy by a great finish in a Canadian Regional Championship, David Rood finshed sixth place with the weekend's most popular deck: Izzet Prowess.
