Urborg was a city on the island of the same name, controlled by the lich Nevinyrral. It was at war with Bogardan.

History

According to legend, Nevinyrral was outmaneuvered and the city was swallowed by a volcano. The necromancer used his disk to destroy what was left of Urborg to deny his enemies any of the magical troves that might have survived.
