Basiphem is one of the seven Llanowar elfhames of South Aerona on the plane of Dominaria.[1]
Description
The Basiphem inhabit the emergent layer of the Llanowar forest; they live in the crowns of the oldest and tallest stoneroot trees. They are a hardy breed with muscular physiques and are indifferent to inclement weather. The Basiphem act as the protectors and guardians of the forest. Each clan is an independent unit, led by some wise elders. Some of the honored elders, known as the Woodborne, have never set foot on the ground, even during the Phyrexian invasion. Basiphem borders the elfhame Hedressel. The nature spirit of Llanowar lives here, though his name is not known.[2]
History
The Basiphem took terrible losses during the invasion. Their ultimate failure to protect the forest still burdens the entire elfhame.
