Standard Cascade is a Magic Arena-specific constructed format for Magic: The Gathering.[1]
Description
In this format, featured in Magic: The Gathering Arena events, each player begins the game with a Maelstrom Nexus emblem that has the following Cascade ability:
When you cast your first spell each turn, exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card that costs less. You may cast it without paying its mana cost. Put the exiled cards on the bottom of your library in a random order. Other than that, the usual rules for Standard Constructed decks apply:
- Minimum of 60 cards in the main deck (maximum 250 cards for main decks)
- Up to 15 cards in your sideboard, if used
- No more than 4 copies of any individual card in your main deck and sideboard combined (except basic lands)
