Zhalfir is a militaristic kingdom on Jamuraa. The planeswalker Teferi, who was a student at Urza's Tolarian Academy, was once a court mage in Zhalfir. He organised the Zhalfiran guilds: the Shadow Guild, Shaper Guild, Granger Guild, Armorer Guild, and Civic Guild. The nation of Zhalfir was mainly red and warlike, as personified by the Knightly Order of Askari.
