Remastered sets are re-released sets that feature the set-defining cards and iconic mechanics from the original block, but with updated gameplay to make it a fun and fresh experience according to contemporary design standards.[1] The sets are regularly larger than normal premier set sizes.

Remastered sets on MTG Arena have an additional focus in that they are the first time the cards of the block would be introduced into the client. As such, the pools are generally smaller.
