Verifiability

Hey Thomas, thanks for taking time out to jump on the Wiki. Because you've worked for Wizards of the Coast, it puts us in an awkward position with regards to the Wikipedia Conflict of interest policy. We normally resolve these issues using secondary source verifiability (i.e. a public record of the information that is accessible by any editor or reader). As far as I can find, there doesn't seem to be any such publicly available info to support your Aetherdrift Arcade Racers work. Because of this, I've had to remove it from your Wiki article. If there is a source and I've just missed it, please feel free to drop it here and I'll put the cards back on the page. -- RivalRowan (talk) 06:19, 26 March 2025 (UTC)

I've made further edits this morning. You are credited by your employer, Wizards of the Coast, as an artist, so the page has been updated to match. If there is a source where they credit you as an art director or visual designer, we can add such titles. The Kickstarter you cited describe your work for them in more detail, but it does not support the claim that you worked with them on events, so that was also removed. Neither your personal website or your Reddit post are reliable sources, but so long as it is not being used to support a claim in the article, the link to your website can remain as a link to an artist's official website. LinkedIn, however, is both unreliable (it is self-published) and blatant self-promotion, and is inappropriate in any capacity.
Please read Wikipedia:Autobiography before you make any further edits to articles describing yourself or your work. MTG Wiki is not your business card. --Corveroth (talk) 16:34, 26 March 2025 (UTC)
