Living in Colorado and a graduate of Colorado State, Randel studied Anthropology, English and Religion. These subjects reflect his passion for interesting cultures, which explain his obesssion with the fictional cultures of Magic: the Gathering. He started playing Magic in November of '94 when he was 13 and thought that Fallen Empires was the coolest set ever.
