Guybrush is me, Ben McKenzie. I’m a writer, performer, teacher and game designer from Melbourne, Australia. (So no, not the actor who wrote the book about crypto.) I played a bit in the 90s, but mainly other CCGs; then briefly played again in 2015 and 2019; and most recently started again through my partner’s enthusiasm for Bloomburrow. My favourite sets are Bloomburrow and Wilds of Eldraine, and I play mostly via Arena or in casual 60-card format at home.

Green has always been my main colour, but I’m trying to branch out more. My current paper decks are Frogs of War ( Bloomburrow frogs) and Educated Rodents ( Eldraine rats), and I’m still working on a Bloomburrow mouse deck ().

As a lifelong fan, I’ve recently saved up and bought a set of all four Doctor Who decks, which will be my first foray into Commander. My favourite is probably Blast from the Past, but you know how it is. Splendid chap. All of them. (Even the Masters of Evil.)
