The fact that you substitute screws up the entire thing. Wikipedia's version doesn't require substitution, by the way. Also, in short, I feel that this breeds laziness. ^M_M ^(talk!) 18:08, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Of course it does, I just even checked again to make sure. How does it screw things up, the template worked perfectly fine. As for the parameter article, no reason one "should" include it when a) users usually begin with small contributions and b) you deleted the relevant part ;) . Retain and revamp
