Template talk:Main footer
I've been re-reading Wizards of the Coast's Fan Content Policy and I'm wondering if our main page footer should be updated to more closely reflect the suggested wording provided by WotC in clause 2. (Tell the Community it’s unofficial)?

- Proposed new footer
MTG Wiki is a free, open-content encyclopaedia that anyone can edit. It is unofficial fan content permitted under Wizards of the Coast's Fan Content Policy.
MTG Wiki is not approved or endorsed by Wizards. Portions of the materials used on MTG Wiki are property of Wizards of the Coast. ©Wizards of the Coast LLC.

- Maybe just move it out of the Main Page proper and into the footer on every page? Some like this. That gets into backend admin territory, though.

- The current backend footer uses "Content is available under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 unless otherwise noted." Other than that, I'd be happy to see that transfer. -- RivalRowan (talk) 03:47, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
