Template:Wp

This template renders a Wikipedia link using the Wikipedia: namespace, then removes that namespace and any parenthetical disambiguation from the link. For example, ''{{wp|The Lord of the Rings}}'' becomes The Lord of the Rings, and {{wp|Avengers (comics)}} becomes Avengers. The link text can be overridden with a second parameter: {{wp|Avatar: The Last Airbender|animated series of the same name}} becomes animated series of the same name.
