Template:Documentation subpage

This template displays a message box/banner marking its page as documentation for a template, and linking back to the main template page. It should be at the top of /doc subpages ("doc pages") for any template that has one, but it should be wrapped in noinclude tags to avoid being shown on actual template pages.

This banner is included appropriately in the boilerplate documentation page wikitext. That text is preloaded for editors using the link from {{Documentation}} when a page doesn't already have a documentation page.

If adding this banner manually, the following format is usually correct at the top of the page:
