Talk:The List
I got the full list
The videos appear to be sorted by expansion code (so, like, Tenth Edition is first, being 10E) of the original printing. The full list, in that order, is here: https://pastebin.com/rVcc3Ue6 . I'm too lazy to transcribe it into WikiFormatting, so if someone else wants to do so, please feel free. --GoldenSandslash15 (talk) 21:39, 9 September 2020 (UTC)
Expansion codes
The expansion codes used by Wizards of the Coast in the article about the list differ from the ones used by the wiki. --Hunter (talk) 11:50, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
- If we convert them, then we should also convert DAR > DOM and AP > APO. But this changes the order in which they are presented, and disconnects our page from the original article. As a consequence, there is no logical meaning in the presentation anymore. I propose to remove the expansion codes and to reorder the sets in chronological order. --Hunter (talk) 03:18, 12 September 2020 (UTC)
- I would go with the 3 letter codes all the way. Or even present a diffrent sorting perhaps based on the named of the expansions instead of the 3 letter codes. Ultimately we are presenting a layer above the original article so we should add to it. - Yandere Sliver 10:55, 12 September 2020 (UTC)
Some cards not really removed
I opened a Wrath of God (portal version) in a MH2 set booster yesterday. This card was listed by Wizards as being removed from The List in this set so I was quite surprised. Not sure if this card, or others, are still widely available or if this was some collation glitch but it should be mentioned here somehow. Just not sure where to put it (should the X for that card be there for MH2? Should there be a sentence or two in the top article?)
- It is worth mentioning in the description --Hunterofsalvation (talk) 15:28, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
- Can confirm that I also opened a Portal Wrath of God in an MH2 set booster. Rpgtiger (talk) 14:10, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
- Also just realized that the one I opened has the regular white mana symbol instead of the one in The List#Misprints. The plot thickens. Rpgtiger (talk) 14:15, 21 June 2021 (UTC)
Exceeded size
"Pages where template include size is exceeded". What are the consequences of this? Should te next List be added on a new subpage? --Hunterofsalvation (talk) 15:03, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
