Talk:Ravi Sengir

I just changed Grandmother Sengir's race from Zombie/Vampire to Human. She was never bitten by Sengir, although she is named Sengir, nor did she ever die and return to life.

Furthermore, her errata states that she is a human. Proof enough for me. --Syphon 12:03, 4 February 2012 (EST)

Name: Ravi Sengir

I'm not sure the name change is correct: the character was never called Ravi Sengir. Before Ulgrotha, she was simply Ravi; after being found by the Baron, she was simply called Grandmother Sengir, her identity as Ravi forgotten.--Firebead elvenhair (talk) 21:49, 22 February 2019 (UTC)

Oh interesting. I though that the Baron did adopt her into the family. Essentially giving her the Sengir surname without changing her first name (at least this is how I read the article). I am not frankly that familiar with the character so you are probably right. I am open to change it back. - Yandere Sliver 22:12, 22 February 2019 (UTC)
Understood. Yes, the Baron adopted her in the family, but he didn't recognize she was Ravi and she doesn't remember her previous life. He simply gave her the nickname Grandmother Sengir, since she seems so much older than him (albeit they have the same age). So now on Ulgrotha, nobody knows her as Ravi.

So do we move the article to Ravi of Grandmother Sengir? I am honestly not sure. Usually we don't put title in the article name. However we do that with Baron Sengir. - Yandere Sliver 11:19, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
I would say: this article back to Ravi, and Baron Sengir to Sengir. --Hunter (talk) 15:25, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
I would be perfectly happy with that. - Yandere Sliver 15:47, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
She is now called Grandmother Ravi Sengir, and depicted as a vampire .... --Hunterofsalvation (talk) 09:27, 2 April 2023 (UTC)
