Retepe as a LGBT character

This is a summary of the discussion that occurred on the MTG Wiki Discord.
The question was raised as to why the Ratepe article was using the Wiki "Category:LGBT characters" when Planeswalker (novel) doesn't really mention or imply anything to that effect. The primary argument seemed to be based around Ratepe being in a relationship with Xantcha, a genderless Phyrexian newt who presents as a woman, prior to the latter's death.

However Ratepe's only association with the LGBT community "was in a relationship with a natively-agender entity that presented as female and used female pronouns for a significant and final period of their life." That association does not inherently make that character not cis/straight and there is no textual evidence or word-of-god evidence to the contrary. The rough consensus on the Discord was that the category was being incorrectly applied and has been removed.
