Talk:Planeswalker/Colorshifts
Other planeswalkers
Maybe we could rename this page to "Planeswalker's colors" and list the other carded planeswalkers (who haven't been colorshifted) in another list. What do you thing? --Tuamir (talk) 14:42, 6 April 2019 (UTC)
- How about "List of Planeswalker colors", with a column for the core colors?[1][2] --Hunter (talk) 05:18, 7 April 2019 (UTC)
- I don't see the "core colors" column part. I am thinking in the long run, when the colorshifts will increase greatly. WotC will justify the changes creatively by events. And will be difficult to justify "core colors". I think it's better use the "usual state" or alike. What do you think? --Tuamir (talk) 18:57, 7 April 2019 (UTC)
Note. Huatli didn't get power from the immortal sun, her view pointed change and with it she had a fundamental character change which made her lose red and gain white. Also now we have the problem of tamiyo being green/white simply because they wanted to make her more viable in standard, yet she is confirmed to not lose white.--J spencer93 (talk) 18:33, 11 April 2019 (UTC)\
WOW just want to say, whoever fixed Huatli...great job. Couldn't have put that better.--J spencer93 (talk) 18:55, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
Misleading
This entire page is misleading. They don't lose a color as described here, Tamiyo for instance is confirmed to still be bant in war of the spark but for design resigns she was given a two colored card. Sorin as well. The examples continue, half of them are already linked to the respective planeswalkers talk sections.--J spencer93 (talk) 05:49, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
Going to repeat again, this page really shouldn't exist. Its misleading about how colors work and what it means. --135.26.174.26 02:00, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
Desparked Planeswalkers
Two questions:
- Should planeswalkers who have lost their spark still be tracked in this table?
- Should characters that have colorshifted as Legendary Creatures and then gone on to ignite their spark have those color changes added to this table?

Wrong Info
So...hate to bring this up again but see even more info here that is confirmed wrong. Their colors aren't shifting as indicated on this page half the time. Example, Tamiyo didn't suddenly gain white then lose it. Cards simply aren't printed with all their colors. This was explicitly asked on Blogatog and that was the answer given. They aren't losing or gaining colors most of the time. This entire page is head canon and should be deleted. JS1993 (talk) 05:48, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah I'm not sure I disagree with this, unless we just want it to be focused on tracking what colors planeswalkers have been printed in gameplay-wise, but there isn't really any lore here and I'm not sure it needs to exist. Happy to hear others' thoughts. RudleyDudley (talk) 00:29, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
