Birthplace

Is it correct to put Dominaria as Piru's birthplace? Like all the Elder Dragons, she hasn't a known birthplace (also, if she is the same age of Bolas, in a sense she predates Dominaria) --Firebead elvenhair (talk) 22:51, 20 March 2018 (UTC)

That's not accurate. Doug Beyer on his blog (http://dougbeyermtg.tumblr.com/search/elder) Doug has been pretty clear in referring to the Legends Elders as Dominarian:
Ugin is from Tarkir. We have consistently thought of Ugin’s homeworld as being Tarkir, so he would have had to planeswalk to be involved in a war on Dominaria. Jay13x (talk) 20:55, 20 March 2018 (EST)
One mention of Dominarian Elder Dragons is hardly consistent. It is more like a retcon. Do we really want to open this can of wurms? --Hunter (talk) 05:12, 21 March 2018 (UTC)
Yes, unfortunately the Elder Dragons lore is still controversial. However, I believe the words of Doug can simply mean that the ED were Dominarian in the sense they primarily chose that plane (the Nexus) as their home. It must be remembered that in the second Legends Cycle, Bolas himself said: "I was old before this world (Dominaria) was even born." Granted, he may be boasting a bit, but this clearly imply that he (and so probably the other ED, assuming they have the same age) was born elsewhere.--Firebead elvenhair (talk) 10:06, 21 March 2018 (UTC)
Oh god, I remember that can of worms. Since they are called the Elder Dragons of Dominia, so that makes their home planes kind of ill-defined in general. - Yandere Sliver 13:44, 21 March 2018 (UTC)
