Shouldn't we ad the Everywhere token from Overlord of the Hauntwoods to the token list? --Hunterofsalvation (talk) 16:05, 4 October 2024 (UTC)
- We should, yes. And I see Princessnightmoon has already added it. I just haven't figured out a good way to do it in the transcluded lists so it sits with the other tokens. The printed token uses the Transguild Courier method of a static ability defining it as all basic land types but the actual wording of Overlord of the Hauntwoods (backed up by the Duskmourn Release Notes) puts those subtypes on the type line. Why does that matter? If we're importing all Forest tokens, we need to have Forest in the Type field. But then we end up in a weird situation where we have a token that neither reflects the printed version nor the rules-accurate version. I don't have any answers right now, which is why I'm ignoring it. -- RivalRowan (talk) 21:49, 4 October 2024 (UTC)
- I got confused with your second to last sentence, "we have a token that neither reflects the printed version nor the rules-accurate version." If the types were listed in the type line on this wiki, wouldn't it be true that it DID reflect the rules-accurate version? It's not a big deal but that's what I would go with. (Mechanically I think the distinction only matters if a text-changing effect is involved though, since no copy effect I'm aware of removes all abilities and type changes are in an earlier layer than ability loss.)
