Male or female
Discuss Keiga's gender here, with references --Hunterofsalvation (talk) 05:20, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
The Dragon's Errand refers to the ryu twice with "his scales" and "his massive jaws". Presumably Keiga in context. 220.238.166.249 06:45, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
In Heretic: Betrayers of Kamigawa, Keiga is most prominently mentioned in Chapter 22 during the battle with Hidetsugu and the yamabushi in which she/her is utilized. However, part of the confusion can be found earlier in Chapter 13 where Keiga is mentioned as Yosei's brother and in Chapter 21 where Keiga is briefly referenced as he. I'm not certain what the consensus might be. Would a more gender-neutral pronoun such as they be more appropriate? Or is it best to remain with the more numerous references to she/her? - That is actually very helpful and interesting enough for the page itself. I'll await further comment regarding the pronoun before taking action. --Hunterofsalvation (talk) 03:54, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
Personally, I think going by the gender specified in the story linked on the page makes more sense. Or just use gender neutral language for convenience. EvilErmine13 (talk) 22:17, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
- I've now made the main text neutral, and added a section on Keiga's gender. --Hunterofsalvation (talk) 07:29, 5 May 2022 (UTC)
