Fan maps

Time ago, I commissioned a fan map of Kamigawa. I tried putting every place with correct geographic location, living out only places with enough description to be placed correctly. Kami War and chronology

Somebody on Blogatog said the Kami War ended in 3326 AR. The Wiki doesn't give a date for that but it says Konda was born around 3700 AR, so that doesn't track. Who's wrong there? Regardless, Neon Dynasty cannot be "two thousand years in the future". Answering the question above, Maro said it's "as many years in the future as it being in the present is." I think this is one of the old edits pulled in from the delete restores, but just to answer the question: I think that blogatog question was basing itself on an older version of the timeline that used an approximation for the Kami War. All we can say for sure is that it lasted 20 years and ran sometime between about 3200 and 3280. That places Neon Dynasty, which takes place in 4561, about 1300 years in its future.

As for Konda, his dates were inaccurate and are now updated to also be "about 3200," although that too is an approximation: we know he was over 50 when the war started, but have no exact dates for his birth or death. RudleyDudley (talk) 11:24, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
