That certainly seems to be the case. I don't really play/follow Arena, so I don't know whether WotC has ever referred to the format by that name in the past, but it's probably worth redirecting Standard Plus here, and expanding on the past discussion about the format when it was being referred to by that name in a History/Background section or some such. — JivanPal (talk) 19:12, 27 June 2019 (UTC)

I think Standard Plus was some sort of working title. Historic might as well be still a working title. I mean we essentially will know how they call this format, when rotation happens. - Yandere Sliver 19:18, 27 June 2019 (UTC)

Missing brawl commanders

So more brawl commanders than Rhys were added to Historic/Brawl on arena which aren't mentionned on this page, and I don't know how to properly format it, nor do I have the date they were added. They were in order "Talrand, Sky Summoner", "The Gitrog Monster" and "Bladewing the Risen". Lykrast (talk) 22:00, 9 April 2020 (UTC)

Restructuring banlist

Due to the unique nature of this format, this page has an unusual length from the supplemental sets that are only notable due to the extra cards that occasionally warrant pre-emptive bans. I propose to retool the list of the bonus sheets and imported products to merge with the list of cards that are pre-emptively banned, which also lets it sort the banlist. This also lets the page have the section of "pre-emptive bans", a feature unique to Historic. I'd consider doing this first and asking later but I can't spend the time yet and would like to see any objections. Shield (talk) 00:14, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
