Can't transform in other ways

The page says that Daybound/Nightbound creatures can't transform in any way other than day turning to night or vice versa. Is this actually true? What about a card like Moonmist, which specifically says to transform all Humans? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.92.134.211 (talkcontribs) Nov 15, 2022.

It's correct. The abilities are defined in the official rules to include "This permanent can’t transform except due to its daybound ability" as part of the ability, so Moonmist would not be able to have any effect. Generally, when one ability says something happens and another says it can't happen, "can't" wins.- jerodast (talk) 09:07, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
