Re: My revert

Because you'll still probably revert my revert without due consideration as a matter of policy, allow me to explain.

I reverted that edit because having an incredibly long linked list, even with a comma and a space, is simply unreasonable and too taxing for any decent human being to read.

I also have no idea which pages are actually pages and not redirects, so I'll leave the linking to the experts now. --—Magic Mage (talk!) 18:03, 13 July 2013 (UTC)

I like the way your list looks as opposed to the long paragraph with commas and spaces. --GeoMike (talk) 23:07, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
OK. Readability is really subjective, but the most practical and reasonable thing would be to have a consensus or majority, I guess. Thanks for your quick response and assent. --—Magic Mage (talk!) 11:11, 14 July 2013 (UTC)

Rise of the Eldrazi

Someone should mention that Tribal was included in Rise of the Eldrazi instead of saying it was never printed again after Lorwyn/Shadowmoor. 130.215.175.18 15:56, 19 September 2014 (UTC)

Fixed. But you could have done it, as well --Hunter (talk) 16:20, 19 September 2014 (UTC)

Kobolds

Didn't creature types come into play as early as Legends with the various Kobold cards? (I'm no expert on Magic history, but that's what it appears to me, looking at the cards). 71.226.144.42 08:40, 28 January 2016 (UTC)

Earlier then Legends. Alpha is the first edition, and creature types were already there in Alpha. - Yandere Sliver 21:46, 28 January 2016 (UTC)
Then shouldn't the main article reflect that? It says creature types didn't have in-game mechanical effects until Fallen Empires. 71.226.144.42 23:25, 28 January 2016 (UTC)
Well, Alpha had two lords: Goblin King with 2 Goblins and Lord of Atlantis with 1 merfolk. Legends which you mentioned had 3 Kobold lords and a bit more of kobolds. However the article states correct that the creature type largely did nothing. Fallen Empire was the first expansion which tried to have tribal theme, and Onslaught was the first which went all out. The creature types always did something, but for the most part they didn't matter until later into the game. That is the gist. - Yandere Sliver 00:15, 29 January 2016 (UTC)

Statistics

Ok so I saw some pages have statistics and some do not. After looking at the wizard page I see how it is done (sorry about the post on Clerics). However, are these mainly updated with every set? How up to date are they? --J spencer93 (talk) 18:49, 6 September 2019 (UTC)

Ideally they would be updated every set, but that is not happening. You could leave a note when it was last updated, like I did here. --Hunter (talk) 22:08, 9 September 2019 (UTC)

Token only creature types

Please add a section for Token only creature types (ex. Saproling) and mostly Token creature types (ex. Pest).‎—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 192.55.16.36 (talkcontribs).

You know this a wiki, right? See also {{Creature types|Races}} --Hunterofsalvation (talk) 04:28, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
