Actually, Phyrexians were first to use "ambulators", and Venser only fudged together his device from Phyrexian leftovers. --MORT (T) 16:50, 16 May 2008 (BST)
- It's been a while I have read the books. But didn't the Phyrexians use portals? And I'm sure they didn't call their devices "ambulators" ;) . Oracle of Truth 17:55, 16 May 2008 (BST)
- Oh they did, quite a lot. Planeswalker itself is full of them. Here is a quote from chapter 6, if you need a proof: "Once the ambulator portals were configured, it didn't matter where a world truly lay. Just one step forward into the glassy black disk the searcher-priests unrolled across the ground and whoosh, the team was where it needed to be." After sixth chapter, ambulators appeare almost every several pages ;). However, I don't recall that term appearing in any other book after, until Time Spiral. --MORT (T) 21:49, 16 May 2008 (BST)
