Richard Whitters is a professional illustrator and an employee of Wizards of the Coast.
Career
Whitters first started for Wizards of the Coast in April, 2007 as a concept artist for Shadowmoor.[1] For some years, he was the only in-house concept artist for the company.[2][3] He was still active in that capacity for Return to Ravnica in 2012.[4]
As of April 2014, Whitters is Senior World Building Art Director for Dungeons & Dragons.[5]

Whitter's concept art of the praetors for New Phyrexia was finally printed on cards (and retroactively added to several sets) with Phyrexia: All Will Be One.[6]
