Reversible cards received a card treatment to make them "double-faced cards" that have the same functional card but with different art on each side.

Description

Each side of a reversible card represents the same spell, but has different art. When played, the owner can choose which side to show off. They're designed to be another way for players to express themselves while playing the game.[1] Since each reversible card has the identity of what was originally printed as a typical single-faced card, they are not considered double-faced cards during the game. For instance, they cannot transform.

Reversible cards do not have a card back, and therefore have to be sleeved or use substitute cards when entering the battlefield as a face-down card, such as with Morph.

Wizards of the Coast have initially limited their used of reversible cards to just Secret Lair and Universes Beyond products until Tarkir: Dragonstorm. As a companion to the They Grow Up So Fast Secret Lair drop, the main set included a cycle of five reversible Spirit Dragons and Ugin in both Play Boosters and Collector Boosters.[2]
