The Purifying Fire is a magical fire of white mana that burns cool.
Description
Located in Regatha, it probes the soul of whoever enters the fire for sin and is a source of power for the Order of Heliud. It can destroy a mortal being or drain all power from a planeswalker, including the ability to planeswalk.[1]
History
Chandra Nalaar was sent into the fire by Walbert III and emerged unscathed. Even after she destroyed the fire's cavern and partially collapsed the Temple of Heliud, the Purifying Fire remained, burning as bright as ever, but now under an open sky.[2]
