Planeswalkers in the World of Magic: The Gathering (万智牌世界中的鹏洛客们) is a Chinese-exclusive release of a planeswalker-themed set of stamps. It was released as part of the events celebrating the 30th anniversary of Magic: The Gathering in December, 2022.

Description

The set of stamps was released in a collaboration with China Post in a limited print run. The stamps came in an luxe illustrated album.

Players could win a copy by writing a postcard to Wizards of the Coast China.[1][2] It also was a bonus for spending over CNY 900 (ca. $125 USD) when buying The Brothers' War boosters.[3]

The album measures 11.5 inches x 8 3/4 inches. It has a hard glossy coated cardboard slip case, that has artwork matching the front and back of the book. The "pages" of the book are like a board book, they're thick cardboard and have gold on the outside facing edges. The front cover features a red-colored planeswalker symbol in the setting of Dominaria's united forces. The first page has a China Post postcard, which is held in with a clear acetate type material, it folds inwards to hold the postcard in place. The front of the postcard features a combination of the artworks from the front/back of the book. The second page has the Magic 30 logo, with some motifs, the Chain Veil, etc. Page 3 is Urza with the Mightstone, this artwork is the same as the The Brothers' War booster box artwork. Page 4 has the first batch of stamps, again held in place by an acetate type film. Page 5 is Mishra with the Weakstone from the booster box artwork. Page 6 is the last page of the book with the remainder of the stamps. The back cover is a green-colored planeswalker symbol in the setting of New Phyrexia's poisonous forces.[4]

The stamps respectively depict Urza, Mishra, Liliana Vess, Karn, Chandra Nalaar, Ajani Goldmane, Sorin, Jace Beleren, Teferi Akosa, Ugin, Nissa Revane and Kaya Cassir.
