Phoenon was one of the eight city-states of the Thran Empire.

Description

Phoenon was the oldest of the city-states. It was also the second richest and the third most populous city-state. It was mountain-locked, but the Pilgrim's Way ran through it, leading through the Megheddon Defile and past the desert plain beyond, to Halcyon, the capital city.

History

When Yawgmoth was being judged by the Elder Council, Phoenon stayed on his side. However, the city fell over to the Thran Alliance in the earliest parts of the Thran-Phyrexian War. Yagwmoth retaliated by sending his airships there and bombing both the enemy's airborne armada and the city itself.
