The Legions Player's Guide was part of the Legions fat pack. Unlike most previous Player's Guides it only included a single sample deck list to demonstrate how new Legions cards could be utilized in Standard.

Harsh Slivers

An aggressive Red and White deck with a Sliver Typal strategy.

“  This red-white Sliver deck is fun to play. In the early going, you’re just trying to survive until you can put together your army. Wall of Hope is great for this, and a couple of Plated Slivers can really make a difference to your defence. Harsh Mercy is great in a deck with mostly one creature type-your Slivers will survive, but your opponents will take some losses.

Once you have enough Slivers in play, they become crushingly powerful. Plated Sliver gives all Slivers +0/+1, making them very difficult to get rid of. A couple of Ward Slivers can give your horde protection from anything in your opponent’s arsenal. Essence Sliver more than makes up for any early damage you take against fast decks. And Magma Sliver lets your Slivers team up for some fantastic beatdown.
