Designing
When David Humpherys reached out to the Duel Masters team to help out with the design of Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, he found out that Maki would be able to contribute working around his other responsibilities.[1] Maki helped what would and wouldn't resonate or feel appropriate with a Japanese audience. Maki provided images, designs, and references for what he and others in the Tokyo office would like to see represented on cards. He also made file pass reviews as it progressed to make sure R&D stayed on target.[2]
