Jonathan Lobo Melamed is an Brazilian professional player. He has had a lengthy playing career, with a Top 16 finish at the 1999 Grand Prix São Paulo as his first major result. His high DCI ranking in the Latin America region lead to his Pro Tour debut at the 2006 World Championships[1]. He qualified for the Pro Tour a number of times on the back of his strong, consistent, Grand Prix performances: he had three further Top 16 and three Top 8 finishes between 2009 and 2019. In May 2024 he won the City Class tournament series Showdown event, qualifying for Pro Tour Modern Horizons 3.
