John Carter is a former employee of Wizards of the Coast. He was R&D Rules Developer and Technical Writer from 2004-2005 and a Judge Community Manager from 2008–2009. He is a DCI Certified Judge since 1997.

John wrote the Saturday School column for Magicthegathering.com, and contributed to the development of the Ninth Edition Core Set.
