Hugo Anquier was a summer intern for Magic at Wizards of the Coast in 2018.[1]
As a designer who'd mostly worked on games outside of the TCG space, he brought a lot of ideas from fresh directions to the Commander Legends team and was especially adept at finding intriguing minigames for commanders to set up to give them unique playstyles.
