Category talk:Ixalan characters

In my opinion, planeswalkers who aren't native to a plane shouldn't be categorized as Ixalan characters. If you do, how would you categorize Jace, Chandra, Gideon etc.? --Hunterofsalvation (talk) 07:58, 9 November 2020 (UTC)

Currently we are a bit mixed on the whole thing. I think at some point there was the idea to list out all planeswalker who visited. I don't think that is a good solution. From my perspective listing all planeswalker which made a major impact to the story of that plane. Azor for example is not native to Ixalan or Ravnica, but is quintessential for both planes, so I would just put him in both navs. Tamiyo would be important for Innistrad and Kamigawa, but I wouldn't necessarily list her under Ravnica given her short stay on this plane which essentially concluded with War of the Spark. The Wanderer is a good example for a character who I wouldn't put in any of the plane navs even though she is confirmed to have visited Ravnica and Ikoria, due to her lack of story impact on either plane. I think that would be a rather natural way to list the planeswalkers. - Yandere-sliver (talk) 08:16, 9 November 2020 (UTC)
