Human
Humans are probably one of the most prevalent species in the multiverse. They are four limbed, bipedial primates of the mammallian class. They have a highly developed brain capable of abstract reasoning, language, and introspection.
Types of Humans
Mirrodin
The humans of Mirrodin adapted to the metal planet, as had all races imported to the plane by growing organic metal pieces on their bodies. Mirrodin tribes consisted of the Auriok of the plains, the Neurok of the shore of the Quicksilver Sea, the Moriok of the Mephidross, the Vulshok of the Oxidda Chain, and the Sylvok of the Tangle.
All species on Mirrodin had metallic growths and plates that permeate and cover their bodies because of the effects of certain substances on the plane that interacted with organic life. The humans all have such metallic growths, but color, material, coverage, and shape vary from tribe to tribe.
The Auriok were a group of nomadic plainsmen who made a living by trading with other races they came in contact with. Interestingly, they were both a people of diplomacy and warfare. Often they would attempt to make peace with other races who could help them survive. They were prominent allies with the Leonin, but shied away from permanent cities.
Auriok were in constant strife with the Nim and other creatures from the Dross when the swamps began to expand, as well as the artifact armies of Memnarch. Also, they were in competition with the Vedalken for spare parts and artifacts.
The Auriok were led by a champion, who looked over the tribe. Steelshapers were valued in times of war because of their iconic abillity to provide weapons from the world of ample metals.
Auriok magic was a strong force on Mirrodin. In order to cope with the dangerous artifacts, Aruiok perfected their magics in order to combat constructs.
Neurok lived in a crude city of metal on the side of the Quicksilver, which was governed for a time by the mage, Bruenna. They were in a state of subservience to the Vedalken, who used them as servants in the labs and technological pursuits of the empire, as well as scouts and explorers of Mirrodin.
The Moriok was a tribe of disparate folk who etched out an existence by scavenging the Mephidross for artifacts and food. Life in the Dross is, harsh, however, and few humans can live amid the poisonous gases and potent chemicals of the swamps of Mirrodin. Due to the nature of the Dross, many who dwelled there for an extended period were warped from their original state. They developed thick metallic coverings over their eyes, often went insane, and lost the original tone of their skin, becoming a a variety of pale-grayish shades. Any living thing that fell dead in the swamps was zombified by gases and black mana.
A prominent Moriok was Geth.
The Vulshock were primitive mountain barbarians and sorcerers who lived in the Oxxida Chain. They traded weapons with other races and worked with the Krark Clan to some degree.
Sylvok were a reclusive, druidic people that lived in the Tangle, sometimes interacting with the elves there.
Rath
Kor
The Kor were a tribe of humans living on Rath. They had blue skin and slightly elongated skulls, hinting that they might have been part of Urza Planeswalker’s Bloodlines Project before they were transported to Rath.
The Kor that joined the Evincar of Rath were known as the il-Kor, the ones that opposed them as the en-Kor. The Kor also lent their name to the Korvecdal.
The other Rathi tribes, the Vec and the Dal, were not significantly different from regular humans.
See Rathi Tribes for more on the Kor.
Ravnica
Humans of Ravnica seem to live longer than humans of other planes.
