Caligo Morass
The Caligo Morass is a marshy delta in Benalia on the northern coast of Dominaria. It is a bleak backwater once called the Caligo Forest.[1]
Fed by the Tiel River, Caligo is situated on the narrow coastal plain between the Red Iron Mountains and the Sea of Avenant.[2][3][4] In the little town of Vess stands Vess Manor. This manse once was the ancestral home to Liliana Vess and housed the Forward Order, a holy order of clerics devoted to the healing arts. Nearby stood General Vess's fortress.[5]
With the rise of the Cabal under Belzenlok, the forest, town and manor were corrupted. Liliana later began reconstruction on the Manor, using one of her cabins on the plane as a placeholder.[6]
