Template:Character Grandmother Sengir was not a biological relative of the Baron Sengir of Ulgrotha, but instead the spellcaster Ravi whom the Baron accepted into his brood after freeing her from the Basalt Spire. She is now a master of black mana as well as some green (and has taught her skills to the Baron) who had grown mad after being trapped for centuries.

History

Life as Ravi

She was a planeswalker when trapped in the Basalt Spire, but, in her madness, has since forgotten that she is a being of such terrible power, so neither she nor the Baron knows she can planeswalk. She carries the Apocalypse Chime, an artifact of terrifying power.

Life as Grandmother Sengir

She is said to boil the flesh of young women and drink the juices in order to keep herself alive. She distributed books of black magic to the apprentices of the Floating Isle and the Death Speakers of Aysen in hopes of gaining a new apprentice. It is believed that she has given the Apocalypse Chime to a dwarven trader, warning the dwarf never to ring it, though this may only be a rumor.

Ravi and the Apocalypse Chime are connected with the rifts.
