The Council of Guides was the religious governing body of the town of Hamath on Corondor, Dominaria made up of the Guides of Hamath. Their beliefs were based on the plains, the soul, and the stars. They were led by Visionary Kadesha from the Ziggurat of Hamath. The Guides' will is enforced by the common Hamath Guard, elite River Guard, and the metal-armored Urlan Guard, who serve the council directly, guarding their meeting chamber, the Hall of Stars. The Guides sought an alliance with the Order of the D'Avenant. During Jared Carthalion's visit to Hamath in 3980 AR, its members included Avad, Daro, and Gensai.[1]
