Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013, also known as Duels 2013 is a digital Magic game that came out June 20, 2012 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Microsoft Windows and iPad. [1] It's the sequel to Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012. Purchasers of the game received access to a coupon which could be redeemed for a 6-card sampler of Magic 2013 cards. Duels 2013 received a number of upgrades from previous iterations of the series. It launched with manual mana tapping, a deeper stat tracking system, the inclusion of an end step, and a more balanced and cohesive roster of decks. The Duels of the Planeswalkers video games are now meant to be a gateway product for new players to be introduced to Magic. Thus, Duels 2013 and M13 were developed and designed with each other in mind. [2] [3]
