Archons are mystical celestial beings that aren't to be confused with angels. They are heavily aligned with the principles of White, have obscured faces, and always appear on a flying steed (usually a winged lion).[1] They seem to be mirror-images of the black Specters, hooded beings that also ride flying mounts.
Known Archons
So far five archons are known:
- Archon of Redemption
- Archon of Justice
- Blazing Archon
- the legendary Krond the Dawn-Clad
- Vengeful Archon
Notes
- Archon is a Greek word that means "ruler", "magistrate" or "lord"
- The black Cabal Archon is a Human Cleric, not an Archon
