Functional changes
- Fungusaur received a functional change, adding a +1/+1 counter at the end of turn, instead of each time it was damaged. This would be reversed with the Eighth Edition.
- Goblin King became a Lord instead of a Goblin King.[1]
- Goblin Balloon Brigade's text was reworded to unambiguously give Flying to itself only. (The original wording could be interpreted to give all Goblins flying.) [1]
- Gloom's text referred to "white enchantments with activation costs", instead of to "Circles of Protection"

- Crumble was a common (C4) in Antiquities and is now an uncommon.

- Eye for an Eye was an uncommon (U3) in Arabian Nights and is now a rare.
- Flying Carpet was an uncommon (U3) in Arabian Nights and is now a rare.
- Ivory Tower was an uncommon (U3) in Antiquities and is now a rare.
- Magnetic Mountain was an uncommon (U3) in Arabian Nights and is now a rare.
- Millstone was an uncommon (U3) in Antiquities and is now a rare.
