It has been revealed that, when [[Glissa Sunseeker]] disappeared, following the events of [[Fifth Dawn]], Geth returned to the [[Mephidross]] in his decapitated state, where he struggled to recover control over the nims. During this time, the Phyrexian corrosion of Mirrodin began, and Geth was offered a new, Phyrexian body - arachnoid, repulsive and unnaturally strong. Using this power, he wiped out contenders to the <c>Vault of Whispers</c>, claiming it back as his own. Now, he rests in the Ish Sah, controlling the black lacuna, bidding his time and learning of the Phyrexian invaders.
