Worth Wollpert
Worth Wollpert is a former Magic: The Gathering player that became a long term Wizards of the Coast employee.[1][2]
Career
Wollpert worked in Magic R&D (2000-2006), before becoming a Brand Manager (2008-2011). In 2009, he became the Director of the Magic Digital Studio, which included Magic Online and Duels of the Planeswalkers. It used to be a meme to "Blame Worth" for anything wrong with the games.
Wollpert left the company in 2017 when Chris Cocks created the Digital Games Studio.[3]
After stints as Senior Director at Blizzard Entertainment and as COO at a data-driven baseball player development organization, Wollpert was asked by Ken Troop to return to Wizards. As of December 1, 2025, he is the Sr. Director Business Strategy for Magic Digital.[1]
